One of the oldest stone build farmhouses. A farm with a dam wall that should be one of the human made wonders of South Africa. A Karoofarm with corbel huts, stone kraal, threshing-floor, chaff-barn, stone guard, fossils and a lot more to see. 45 km from Fraserburg on the AP2259 Rante Road and 95 km from Sutherland.

All units has no electricity. (Gas stove, Aga stove). All units are fully equipped with bedding and towels.

Two separate self catering accommodation:

• Large old stone building (4 persons), open plan - equipped for self catering with kitchen, 1 double bed, 2 single beds, bathroom, braai facilities
• Old house build in 1720, self catering (4 persons), 2 bedrooms, 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1¾ bed - share 1 bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. Braai facilities
• Outside: Corbel hut (2 persons) 2 single beds - share outside bathroom. Also share kitchen in house.
• Outside: Outer room (2 persons) 2 single beds - share outside bathroom. Also share kitchen in house.

Hiking trails, horse riding, donkey cart rides, cycling (own bicycles). Come and enjoy nature to its fullest extent.

Witfontein Farm Guest House

 Witfontein Farm Guest House is a KAROO farm situated on the R353 road, 25 km from Fraserburg, 
65 km from Williston and 125 km from Sutherland.  
A cosy little farm house, which is booked out exclusively to you to ensure total privacy!!

Our accommodation is fully equipped for self-catering  -  including:

 6 beds, en-suite and second bathroom + linen and towels.
Spacious kuier-kitchen with coffee/tea/sugar, farm milk, rusks.
Continental or cooked breakfast is an option.
Karoo lamb chops, braaisalt, wood and farm butter available on request.
Even salads and bread dough prepared to make “roosterkoeke” on your own braai.
